2016 Black Friday/Cyber Monday Paleo & AIP Deals

Happy Black Friday & Cyber Monday! I hope you have tons of delicious leftovers to enjoy over the weekend. Here are some deals I thought you might want to know about while you're doing your online shopping! :-)

Instant Pot Pressure Cooker - $69

The Instant Pot is all the rage right now and it is my most favorite kitchen appliance EVER. You can cook anything in this baby in a jiffy, even frozen roasts and whole chickens. It's also my go-to for making bone broth these days since I can make what would take more than a week in a slow cooker or on the stovetop in just a single day - I'm talking gallons of broth that is delicious and gels! I also get more reuses out of my bones when I pressure cook them.

This deal WILL sell out - so don't delay!

My eBook: Muddled ($4)

For hangover-free holidays that include fun, tasty, and festive beverages you need a copy of Muddled! It's got 44 recipes that are all Paleo, AIP, and a small handful of AIP reintroduction recipes inside. If you don't drink alcohol, you can enjoy any of these beverages at your holiday festivities without feeling left out. This eBook was JUST expanded today to include some incredible holiday recipes and hot toddies!

Beautycounter - up to $138 in free product with purchase

Beautycounter is doing an INCREDIBLE Black Friday/Cyber Monday special and offering a FREE Lip Sheer in the color of your choice ($30 value) when you spend $125 and if you spend $250 they also include a Rosemary Citrus Body Oil ($73 value) too!

Beautycounter gets my enthusiastic stamp of approval for those following a Paleo or AIP lifestyle. We have to pay attention to the things in our environments that can cause health problems, and this includes our personal care products and makeup!

Read more about my safe skincare journey, from DIY disasters to Beautycounter in this blog post. Beautycounter is high-end quality, effective, luxurious, SAFE, and so much fun to use! They are so obsessed with safety and ban over 1300 ingredients that have questionable safety data (yet are commonly used in mainstream products).

Now is a GREAT time to join the Band of Beauty loyalty rewards program, which gets you a free gift (Rosewater Mist toner spray, $35 value) PLUS earns you 15% back in product credit on every purchase, and you get FREE SHIPPING on orders over $100!! The $29 sign-up fee is immediately reimbursed to you with the free gift AND it counts toward the purchase minimum to unlock the Black Friday special.

So, if you spend $250 (on yourself or others you want to share safe skincare with!) you get $138 in FREE products plus earn 15% product credit back on your purchase!!

They've got a TON of drool-worthy gift sets that you are going to want to check out. My favorite 3 are:

  • Naughty to Nice - Charcoal Cleansing Bar + Purifying Charcoal Mask (my 2 FAVORITE skincare products)
  • Winter Dream and Winter Warmth Palettes (featuring 6 shades of eyeshadow, a bronzer, a highlighter, and a blush each)
  • Luminous Nudes - with a Lip Sheer and a Lip Gloss

Here I am ready to head to Thanksgiving dinner wearing the Winter Dream Palette, Lengthening Mascara, Tint Skin Foundation in Linen, and the Plum Lip Sheer topped off with the Lip Shine for some glossiness. I removed my eye makeup afterwards very easily with the Baby Soothing Oil and pampered my face with the Cleansing Balm to remove the rest.

Yoga For Healing - $37

Take a few minutes to read my extensive review about this online video-based yoga course here. I'll give you the short version: I've practiced yoga on and off for over 16 years. For all of the past year I have struggled with exercise, and found myself unable to do more intense yoga routines I had previously enjoyed. I heard about Tera's online course, specifically designed for folks like me working to heal chronic health problems, and fell in love after the first video.

I have spent close to $37 just for ONE in-person class before, so this package is a complete steal at that price. If you need to add mindfulness and/or movement to your health routine, this course is perfect for you and won't make you feel left behind, ashamed, embarrassed, and will instead lift you up, make you stronger, and help you accept and love where you are today.

Through 11/28 discounted from $97 to $37!

Another exercise tool I have been using this year to recover my health is the MuTu System. I have a diastasis recti (DR) from formerly being obese (read a whole lot more about that in this blog post) which means I have to be very careful about the type of exercise I do to prevent worsening it or other injuries. Most postpartum women have a DR and don't even realize it. It can cause low back pain, mobility issues, even constipation. This system is only ever discounted twice a year: once in July for Wendy's birthday and again for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Grab it while it's on sale! The dietary recommendations are very much in line with Paleo.

There are 2 versions of the course: one that features more intense exercises to help you lose fat in addition to healing your core, and one that just focuses on rehabilitating your core. If you aren't sure which system you'd like to try, use this tool to help you decide. I am doing the full version.
